The chair of Building Resilient; Jose Adam, and our Postdoctoral researcher, Manuel Buitrago, have been appointed Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor of the journal Construction and Building Materials.
Construction and Building Materials (https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/construction-and-building-materials) is an international journal dedicated to the investigation and innovative use of materials in construction and repair. The journal publishes a wide range of innovative research and application papers which describe laboratory and to a limited extent numerical investigations or report on full scale projects.
Professor Jose Adam has a long career as Senior Editor of the journal and has now been appointed Editor-in-Chief. In addition to his work as a professor at the Universitat Politècnica de València – UPV, he and his Building Resilient team perform research in the fields of structural engineering and construction, always aiming to improve the resilience of buildings and bridges.
Doctor Manuel Buitrago joined the journal as Managing Editor. His research involves interdisciplinary collaboration and is now focused on the resilience and robustness of structures He works mainly leading experimental testing and ambitious experimental campaigns, including many on full-scale structures.
