Our group focuses its work on experimental activities, always accompanied by advanced computational simulations. In both areas, tests and simulations, we use software programmed and adapted to our needs, as well as commercial software. We usually work with the commercial software ABAQUS, DIANA, ANSYS, LS-DYNA and Extreme Loading for Structures for structural analysis.
For monitoring of structures by means of electrical and fiber optic sensors, we use CATMAN and ENLIGHT software with a high capacity to record measurements at a high sampling frequency. Other software used in the framework of the Universitat Politècnica de València are LabView and Matlab.
