Eduardo J. Mezquida-Alcaraz and Fabio Parisi have just joined Building Resilient

Two new researchers have just joined Building Resilient: Eduard Mezquida and Fabio Parisi.

Eduard Mezquida holds a PhD from the UPV and two master’s degrees, one in Civil Engineering and the other in Concrete Engineering. In recent years, he has been working in the field of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC), combining experimental and computational research. His work in Building Resilient will be related to the robustness of building structures. A topic he will contribute to by building on his previous experience in ICITECH laboratories and his work with advanced computational simulations.

Fabio Parisi holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Politecnico di Bari, and joins Building Resilient as a pre-doctoral researcher. Fabio has previous experience in digital and additive manufacturing and in ICT applied to construction industry. His work is part of a dual PhD between UPV and Politecnico di Bari, and his research is focused on the application of artificial intelligence for bridge maintenance and management.

We look forward to sharing many successful achievements with them.
